Well, i'm sure you think this has to do with God's grace ...
and in a sense it does ...
Simply put, Grace can be defined as God's unmerited blessings.
God's grace is something God does for the benefit of His people
just because He loves them.
Grace can never be earned, it's totally free.
God's Grace is "the power of God to do for us what we cannot do for ourselves".
And the fact is, we cannot do anything for ourselves.
Jesus says, "...without me ye can do nothing." John 15:5
I've been blessed by the grace of God alright ...
but again, it's not what you're thinkin ...
I sold all my horses but Sunset ... a wise decision i'd finally come to
I had more horses than any man should have...
But later I thought it'd have been nice if i'd had kept two
Company for Sunset ...
an extra for packing ...
and for friends and family to ride.
I'd realized the part all the horses played in my life.
I'd decided to count my blessings ... I had Sunset and 4 healthy children.
My "Grace" and "Sunset"
So what does God do?
He puts Grace back into my world that I do not deserve
Unfortunately the lady who bought him had much hardship
She didn't pay the pasture lease and the landowner called me
Needed a bill of sale so he could take her to the 'meat market'
My Grace doesn't deserve that ... she was a blessing, and
I got her for a fraction of the pasture due ...
Couple hundred bucks ...
Yup, i'll be back in the saddle again this spring ...
she's not broke, but she will be now!
Have the round pen and knowledge to do just that ...
Have my Sunset who will be a great mentor ...
and am blessed with Bleu ... my faithful companion.
There is a saying Drinking from the Saucer Now and I know
exactly what it means now ... Thank You God for the Blessings.
